I live and practice ayurveda and ayurveda inspired yoga in Paonia, Colorado. I am available for ayurvedic consultations for the communities of the western slope of Colorado including Grand Junction, Montrose, Aspen, Carbondale, Crested Butte, Delta, and Hotchkiss. Each of these communities are within 1.5 hour drive to my home office in Paonia. Current Yoga Class schedule.

I received my  certification in yoga and ayurveda from The Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, NM. Previous to this I worked with an OMD (Oriental medicine doctor) for 4.5 years running his clinic.

Being a mom and wife, yoga and ayurveda are my greatest joys as well as my dharma. I support people who share a desire to reveal their true nature.

What you can expect from a consultation with me:

Ayurveda and yoga state that a human is greater than the sum of their parts.  You can expect yoga therapy that engages and sustains all 7 layers of tissues. I have had yoga students come to me and say, “I was on psych meds for depression/anxiety but with the addition of yoga into my life i was able to let the meds go.” I have witnessed students come in with physical immobility that they chalked up to “old-age”. These elder students have increased the mobility in their bodies to the point of saying, ” I cannot remember my joints feeling so well” and “My arm has not been able to extend over my head in decades”.  I have clients that have come to yoga before and after surgeries to enhance circulation and reduce the time of post-op healing. Pregnant women come to yoga to prepare physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually for natural childbirth and motherhood. In my opinion yoga is one of the most powerful medicines on the planet. Currently I teach yoga at The North Fork Karate Studio in Paonia, CO.

Clinically, I use yoga, diet, herbs and lifestyle to support people with allergies, auto-immune status, depression, anxiety, digestive complaints, diabetes, circulatory disorders, nervous disorders, sexual dysfunction, chronic fatigue, hormonal imbalance etc.  We look at the whole context of your life, not just the symptoms that brought you to seek support. Due to it’s integrative approach Ayurveda can provide improvement on most health conditions.
